Dining over a carpet of rolling lawns
№ 10 — The Project
Located in the prime Savarkar Nagar of Nashik, Palm Springs stands as the new dining and celebration destination of the city. The minimalistic and monochromatic restaurant structure sits over a carpet of lavish, rolling lawns, and this beautiful scene welcomes you into the property.
The front of the structure can be approached by a driveway designed with green pockets and welcoming tree canopies. The structure in itself is rectangular in shape, with rectangle frames a part of the elevational treatment. Whilst the front of the restaurant opens up in rectangular fenestrations to the outside, the rear end of the structure houses the banquet hall. The entire hall opens up into a stepped amphitheatre, which then gives way to the grand lawns.
A raised plinth next to the lawn stands as a commemorative entryway, useful for occasions like weddings and parties. Partially covered with a pergola-like structure and green pockets on both sides, this raised plinth is a perfect extension from the solid cuboid structure - a connection between the built and the unbuilt.
The use of yellow lights across the property has been matched with the landscape, giving the entire space a cosy, homely ambience with a touch of luxury.
